Shimano Acera FC-M3000 Crank Set 3×9-speed
Echoing its big brothers, Shimano introduced today a revamped Acera group set. Acera is designed for entry level mountain bikes. Thanks to the trickle-down effect, entry level riders profit from innovations made for high end group sets. The main renovation of Acera is that there is a dedicated MTB and trekking version available. A 40-30-22T crank for MTB and a two dedicated gear combinations for trekking. Both feature mega 9 light drivetrains and have a better matching appearance.
Since bigger wheel sizes also became more popular in the Acera segment, the Acera drivetrain adopted the 40-30-22 triple crank.
The Acera FC-M3000 crankset for square bottom brackets is chain case compatible.
